Oracle Fusion
Procure to Pay (P2P) main changes
Our procurement (i-proc) and payables system has now moved to Oracle Fusion. The key processes that will be different which impact Resources and our suppliers are:
- Requisitioning: raising a purchase order will be a similar process to the current i-proc system but with a different look and feel. The new system will introduce new ways to manage catalogues to keep pricing information more up to date and reduce price holds.
- All requisitioning will move to self-serve, so if you are a Resource who currently raises requisitions through the central team, there will be changes for your processes.
- Submission of invoices for payment will be a new electronic workflow process: invoices will be scanned to the system, coded and automatically sent to the approver for electronic authorisation. Invoices will no longer need to be manually coded, signed and batched for payment.
- Requesting a new supplier will also be a new workflow process completed on the system, replacing the current supplier adoption manual form.
- Supplier Portal: suppliers will have access to a new portal to view their purchase orders, submit invoices electronically and request changes to their information. This will be rolled out to suppliers on a phased basis.
