Oracle Fusion

P2P Fusion go live P2P approval

Work has now started to migrate to Oracle Fusion for Finance and Procurement functions, including requisitioning through Self Service Procurement (SSP: formerly known as i-proc) and Request for Payment (RFP: certified invoice payments).

  • SSP approvals: this process is similar to the approval process in i-proc where individuals will receive an email for approval of a requisition.
  • RFP is a new electronic process for authorisation of certified invoices and you will receive an email for approval.
  • For both processes, you will also receive a bell notification to approve if you are logged into the Fusion system. Individuals will have their own preference on working from the bell notification or emails. Email notifications cannot be switched off but if you prefer to work from the bell notification, you can set up outlook rules to manage this.
  • Authorising managers for both SSP and RFP will be automatically determined by Fusion based on the Cost Centre Manager Hierarchy.
  • Training guides for SSP and RFP approvers are available via Learn on Line and information on P2P training materials will confirm the relevant course to complete for this role.
  • We anticipate the new system being available for Resources from Monday 15 April, so the first approvals will be from then.
  • Our next communications will be on go live arrangements as we approach that date.
