What’s happening?

We are in the process of replacing our electronic documents and records management system Meridio with a new system called Objective.

When’s it happening?

Phase one of the rollout will move the people using Meridio onto Objective and this is expected to happen by the end of this year.

Phase one will also include any employees who help deal with any correspondence that comes in for the Chief Executive. 

Other Resources will come on board in future phases over the next couple of years.

If you work in Planning and Building Standards or Benefits and Revenues you will have your own case management systems but may also use Objective for general documentation.

How will it affect me?

This will depend on your Resource and particular duties, but if you currently use Meridio then you can expect to move to Objective in the next few months.  Don’t worry – the basics of EDRMS are the same.

If you work with computers, electronic files and documents Objective will help your daily work – we’ll explain more about this in future posts.  

Is there help available?

Yes, training will be given, and everyone will have a local ‘champion’ who can help you - they will also be system administrators so will know the system well. You can also expect bulletins from senior management, who will also be getting to grips with Objective in phase one.
