Oracle Fusion
P2P Spotlight 3 - Request for payment process
In Fusion, all certified invoices will be submitted to Payables using the new Request for Payment (RFP) process.
- RFP is an electronic workflow process that will ensure that the appropriate manager authorises invoices, removing the need for hard copy signatures, batch headers or email approvals
- All submissions through RFP will be routed electronically to the appropriate manager for authorisation under the Cost Centre Manager (CCM) hierarchy. Payables will no longer maintain an authorised signatory list as all approvals should be electronically workflowed in Fusion. More information on the CCM is available in Spotlight 2
- The RPF process will be used for certified invoices, multiple payments and imprest accounts. The RFP process is not used to submit invoices where a purchase order has been raised
- All requisitioners will also have access to submit a RFP request and employees who regularly submit certified payments
- A user cannot submit and authorise an invoice: if you are the authoriser under the CCM, another user must create the request
- Most information required to create a RFP request will be available on the invoice, including supplier and bank details, amount and VAT treatment. A scanned copy of the invoice will be submitted with the workflow request and must be in PDF format. The Fusion cost centre/account code will also be required
- From Fusion go live in April 2024, Payables will begin to phase out acceptance of invoices through manual batches or email
- A RFP Training guide is available via Learn on Line
- SLLC users will continue to use the manual batching process for invoice payments until go live with Self Serve Procurement. An authorised signatory list will continue to be maintained for SLLC
