Ask, Tell, Save a life
Ask Tell, Save a Life is part of the national Every Life Matters approach to mental health and suicide prevention. Public Health Scotland and NHS Education for Scotland developed the Ask, Tell, Respond learning resources to help people understand mental health, recognise when someone may be in distress and feel more confident starting a supportive conversation.
As employees, you may encounter colleagues, customers, friends or family members who are struggling with their mental health. This course helps you develop the confidence to listen with compassion, ask direct questions and guide someone to help them find the appropriate support which can make a real difference. It provides you with the practical tools needed to look after your own mental wellbeing and respond safely when you are concerned about another person.
