Advertising

All council advertising is channelled through the central advertising service in Communications and Strategy which negotiates bulk discounts with the media.

This service deals with all advertising in local and national newspapers, magazines, periodicals and other media including buses, bus shelters, billboards, radio, cinema and TV.

There are weekly deadlines for advertising in local newspapers. For standard public notices, copy and advertising order forms should emailed to advertising@southlanarkshire.gov.uk by Thursday at 10am for inclusion in the press the following week.

Additional time is required if you need design work.

If you receive a direct approach from an advertising sales person, explain that all council advertising is channelled through the Communication and Strategy advertising team.
