Adoption gives children who cannot live safely with their birth families a permanent, loving home. Many have experienced uncertainty and may need extra support as they grow.

We are looking for people who can offer stability, care and lifelong commitment.

If you are starting to explore the option of adoption there will be lots of questions and information you will want to know.

We are holding an information evening on Wednesday 20 May 2026 at Carluke Lifestyles from 6pm to 8pm.

We will also be holding an information day on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at The Village Centre from 9am to 3pm.

What to expect at the event

We will have members of our Family Connections Team and current adoptive parents available on the day/evening to discuss:

  • who can adopt
  • the adoption process
  • why we need adoptive parents
  • the support and training that we offer

If you cannot attend on the day, you can find out more about adoption by visiting Thinking about adoption?
